Museum Hours and Access
Museum of Biodiversity Display Room Entrance
Research visitors are allowed in the Museum only when a member of the Museum staff is present. Museum hours are 8:00a.m.–4:30p.m. Arrangements for a visit should be made in advance. Visitors with legitimate needs to study and compare our specimens are welcome. This includes researchers from recognized colleges, universities, museums or other academic institutions, state or federal agencies, and qualified amateurs. Individuals associated with other not-for-profit organizations or private industry may be assessed user charges at the discretion of the curator.
All plant material must be frozen before being brought into the Museum. Any visitor who intends to bring plant material to the herbarium for comparison must make arrangements to deliver it ahead of the visit. The material will be frozen for at least 48 hours before it is allowed into the herbarium for study.
